We are committed to creating an enriching environment that extends beyond the classroom. We believe that high-quality, affordable, and developmentally appropriate programs should be accessible to every child and family. Our programs are designed to support each child’s social, physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and personal development while responding to the needs of families and the school community.
In addition to our childcare services, Active Minds Tutoring offers personalised academic support for school-aged children. Whether students need homework help, one-on-one tutoring, small-group instruction, or enrichment in subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, and STEM, our educators provide individualised guidance that builds confidence, strengthens skills, and fosters a lifelong love of learning.
Drawing on years of experience in education and child development, we have crafted a comprehensive program that helps children succeed both academically and personally. Every aspect of our program has been thoughtfully designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and respectful of all emotional, physical, cultural, and learning needs.

The Safety And Well-being Of Every Child Is Our Highest Priority.
At Active Minds Childcare, the safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. Safety is woven into every aspect of our program. We also meet all Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations, and we are committed to providing a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment every day.
Our tutoring services are designed with the same commitment to safety. Tutoring is offered online or in a public library, based on the parent’s preference. Online sessions are conducted using secure virtual platforms, while in-person tutoring takes place in open, public learning spaces that provide a safe and comfortable environment for students. Parents are welcome to remain nearby or participate in the learning process if they wish.
To further ensure the safety of every child, all staff members are required to maintain a current Calgary Police Service Vulnerable Sector Check. Families can feel confident knowing their children are supported by qualified, compassionate professionals who are committed to their safety, academic success, and overall well-being.
