Active Minds Childcare Inc. was created with one goal in mind, to enrich the youths of Calgary. We provide affordable, high-quality childcare and early childhood education through creative, innovative, and imaginative programming.

We are committed to providing an enriching environment for children, that goes beyond the classroom. We believe that high quality, affordable, and developmentally appropriate programs should be available to all children and their families. Our program is designed to meet the individual child's basic developmental needs: social, physical, emotional, intellectual, creative, and self-concept while responding to the needs o f families and the school community.
By applying the experience and skills learned over a lifetime, We have been able to craft an unrivaled program for children, with activities designed to teach skills they can carry with them through life. In everything from S.T.E.M., creativity, interpersonal, and even laughter. The entire program has been designed with the utmost care and thought, and is inclusive of all emotional, physical, and cultural backgrounds and needs.

Child Safety
At Active Minds Childcare the safety of the children we care for is our top priority. Safety is woven through every aspect of our program from the drop off and pickup protocols, as well as our location within Calgary Board of Education schools. Our location eliminates a hazard present in many programs by not transporting children to and from off campus sites.

We also meet, and or exceed, all Alberta Childcare Licensing regulations at all times. Everything from a minimum 15:1 child to educator ratio, non parental pickup consent forms with ID checks, and sanitization are taken very seriously.

Other company policies in place to ensure child safety pertains to our staff. All staff are required to provide a Calgary Police Service vulnerable sector background check on a regular basis. They are also certified in first aid by an accredited trainer.

All of our staff at Active Minds Childcare are carefully vetted and selected to be the best fit for our program and our children. They are all trained professionals holding a certificate in Early Childhood Education from the province of Alberta.
